​​CLUB NOTES - 23rd November 2016

Our u21s put in a strong performance against a fancied St.Marys in the A final on Sunday in Bunninadden. It was level pegging at half time, but Marys pulled ahead, despite a persistently strong "Westerly breeze" ! 
Well done to the lads and management on a strong campaign by this young side.

Staying healthy in body & mind
Sligo GAA would like to invite you, your family and friends to a presentation by Prof. Donal O'Shea on "Staying healthy in body & mind" in Mercy College this Thursday next 24th Nov at 7.30 pm. 
He has appeared frequently on Operation Transformation & is Ireland's leading expert on nutrition & healthy eating. His talk will be followed by a Q & A session. It promises to be a very interesting & informative evening. All welcome

The popular social 25 Card games are back! Formerly held in Owenbeg - Change of venue this year, to the Enterprise units (across from Bernies) in the village - 8pm every Sunday night. 
We look forward to seeing all the regulars, and new players are always welcome. Please come along and enjoy this social evening, with a cup of tea, good company and lots of prizes.... Thank you to the ladies who have kindly made the teas over the years!

Best of luck to our Easkey GAA entrants in this years Sligo Scór na nÓg - Solo singers Amber Jade McDonald and Lauren McGuire ; Instrumental group of Ellen McGuire, Aisling McGuire, Lauren Scott, Alisha Scott, Amy Harte. Well done to all of these young people representing their club with pride.

Easkey GAA AGM - Saturday 3rd December - Easkey Community Centre.
This year, we will host a Youth AGM from 7-8pm on the same day with the theme: 'How can our club help us as players? - How can we help our club?'
This is for all Registered Youth Members of Easkey GAA Club (including those on Family Memberships) age 8 - 14 years. Young people will be working in groups with their own age.
