​​​CLUB NOTES - 24th April 2018


Our senior team beat local rivals St Farnans by the slenderest of margins - 1-13 to 2-9 in a fiercely contested league game down in St Farnans to keep up our positive start to this league campaign. The same opponents await us this weekend in the Benson Cup, down in St Farnans Community Park on Saturday 28th April at 7 pm for round 2.

Senior Hurling
Next up for our senior hurlers is a home fixture against Tourlestrane on Sunday 28th April at 12pm for round 3 of the Dermot Molloy Hurling League.

The Easkey/ Enniscrone-Kilglass minors were well beaten by Eastern Harps in Quigabar last Sunday the 22nd April on a score line of 2-7 to 5-15. They host Shamrock Gaels on Friday evening at 7pm in Quigabar.

Next up for the u16s is an away trip to Owenmore Gaels in Connolly Park on Monday 30th April for Round 4.

U17 Hurling
Good luck to Easkey lads on the Sligo u17 hurling team who start the Celtic challenge next Wednesday 2nd May vs Galway in Bekan at 7.30 pm.

Underage Hurling
The Easkey/St Farnans u16s had a great win against Tourlestrane on a score line of 6-16 to 2-5 in Easkey on Monday evening the 23rd April.
Underage Hurling training continues during the week as follows.
Saturday morning – u8s, u10s - 11.15am – 12.
Saturday morning - u12s - 12-1 pm
Monday night u12 8-9 pm in the factory (see Easkey/St Farnans page on Facebook)

Training continues on Saturday morning at 10 on the Astro Turf in Owenbeg for all U8 and U10s. 

U12- U14
Training continues for the u12 and u14 teams during the week. 

Well done to the u10 and u16 draughts teams who got silver at the Connacht finals on Saturday.
