​​CLUB NOTES - 28th October 2016

Easkey/Enniscrone-Kilglass Minors captured the Minor A Championship on Sunday, with a 1-15 to 0-10 win over Owenmore Gaels at Markievicz Park. 
The West Sligo lads put in a strong second half display to run out eight-point winners. Congratulations to the panel and management. 
Connacht Club quarter-final meeting with Castlebar Mitchels this Friday evening at 8.30pm in the Connacht GAA Centre of Excellence in Ballyhaunis. Good luck lads..

The u21 Easkey/Enniscrone-Kilglass team are away Calry/St.Josephs on Sunday at 12noon

U16 Hurling
Well done to the Easkey/St. Farnans u16 hurlers on two great wins in the Connaught championship. They defeated Carrick of Leitrim in the preliminary round, and beat Westport in the QF to gain a semi final spot against the Roscommon champions Padraig Pearses. Game takes place this Sunday in Connacht Centre of Excellence Ballyhaunis at 3pm. Good luck lads.

Defibrillator training
Heart Saver course will take now place the week after Halloween break. Venue and date tbc. All managers and interested parents should attend. Names please to Gabriel McHugh or Shane Feeney

U12 Development Camp
There will be an u-12 development camp in Scarden on November 1st and 2nd from 10- 2.30 pm. Cost €20. Players must be in last year of under 12.
Camp will involve:
1. Skills testing for players,
2. Physical Fitness assessment.
3. Diet and Nutrition Talk
4. Small sided games

Sligo Scór na nÓg will take place in Ballintogher on Sat.26th November 6pm.
Club members u17 are invited to take part in the various competitions - Solo Singing, Recitation, Novelty Act/ Dramatic presentation, Music group, Ballad Group, Céili dancing.

Easkey GAA AGM will now take place on Saturday 3rd December in Easkey Community Centre
