​​​CLUB NOTES - 2nd May 2018

Our senior team beat local rivals St Farnans by 4 points on a scoreline of 0-11 to 0-7 on Saturday 30th April in the Benson Cup. Next up is a league fixture against St Michaels on Saturday the 12th May a 7pm for round 5 

Senior Hurling
Our senior hurlers had a comprehensive 4-22 to 3-12 win against Tourlestrane on Sunday 28th April in round 3 of the Dermot Molloy Hurling League. Next up is a league semi final for the hurlers against Manorhamilton on the weekend of the 12th May- time to be confirmed 

The Easkey/ Enniscrone-Kilglass minors had a 1-10 to 0-11 win over Shamrock Gaels last Friday evening in the league. Next up for the minors is Owenmore Gaels in the last round of the league on May 18th. 

The Easkey/ Enniscrone- Kilglass U-16 team had an impressive 10-18 to 4-4 over Owenmore Gaels on Monday evening the 30th April down in Connolly Park, Collooney.

U17 Hurling
Good luck to Easkey/ Farnans lads on the Sligo u17 hurling team who start the Celtic challenge on Wednesday 2nd May vs Galway in Bekan at 7.30 pm. Easkey / Farnans are well represented with Eoghan Rua McGowan, Fionn Moylan, Niall Kilcullen, Jim Davis, Cahan Hallinan, Thomas Cawley, Fergal Currin, Fionn Connolly

Colaiste Iascaigh Ladies Team
Well done to a very young Colaiste Iascaigh ladies team who performed brilliantly against Jesus and Mary Enniscrone in the Plate final on Monday 30th April. However, their more experienced opponents ran out winners. Congratulations to them as there is Easkey girls on both teams!

Underage Hurling
Underage Hurling training continues during the week as follows.
Saturday morning – u8s, u10s - 11.15am – 12.
Saturday morning - u12s - 12-1 pm
Monday night u12 8-9 pm in the factory (see Easkey/St Farnans page on Facebook)

Training continues on Saturday morning at 10 on the Astro Turf in Owenbeg for all U8 and U10s. 

U12- U14
The u12 footballers had a great win against Tourlestrane on a scoreline of 0-18 to 0-12 down in Tourlestrane on Monday the 30th January. 
Training continues for the u12 and u14 teams during the week. 

Darkness into Light
