​​​CLUB NOTES - 19th July 2017

Easkey had a disappointing game v neighbouring St.Farnans on Sunday, losing 1-11 to 5-16 and will look to improve on form for this Sundays home game v Coolera/Strandhill. Throw-in 1pm Easkey.

Rd 13 sees Easkey travel to Riverstown for Shamrock Gaels clash this Friday 21st at 8pm

Easkey/Enniscrone-Kilglass lost narrowly to Owenmore Gaels in the Shield Semi-Final on Thursday last, on a scoreline of 1-9 to 2-7. Good luck to Owenmore Gaels in Final.

U14B Championship starts next Wed. 26 July at 7pm, when Easkey travel to Hazelwood to play Calry/St Joseph's

Despite a good performance, Easkey u12s lost to Calry/St.Josephs in their last game, and will now have a break until games in august.

U18 Hurling Championship
After a 1st rd win over Coolera/Strandhill, Easkey/St.Farnans minors travel to Oxfield Pk to face Benbulben Gaels Thursday 27th July 7pm.

U16 Hurling Championship
Easkey/St.Farnans u16s defeated Tourlestrane in rd1. Next up home game 7th August v Benbulben Gaels.

County u21 Hurling
Well done to the Sligo u21 hurlers on their semi-final win over Louth recently. (Easkey/St.Farnans lads on team were Joe McHugh, Mikey Gordon, Eamonn Kilgannon, Stephen Mulligan, Finnian Cawley, Sean Hallinan)
Best of luck in their All-Ireland C Final v Donegal this Saturday 22nd July 4pm in Markievicz Park. Please support the lads as they bid for All-Ireland glory.

The u13 and u15 teams are preparing for their respective GAA Feiles weekend of 29th/30th July in Longford. Best of luck to the girls and their trainers.

Well done to the young people of the parish who competed in the Connacht Fleadh in Galway recently, and best of luck to those going forward to the All-Ireland Fleadh.
