Easkey Sea Blues GAA Club
CLUB NOTES -26th July 2020
Our Senior footballers played out a very entertaining draw with our neighbours St Farnan’s in the opening round of the Intermediate Championship. After a slow start which saw St Farnan’s race into an 8 point lead midway through the 1st half, the lads responded well and ended up going in level at the break, helped by 2 goals from Fionn Moylan who was making his Championship debut. The 2nd half was a tit-for-tat affair, which saw Easkey equalise with the last kick of the game from a Mikey Gordon free to leave the final score, Easkey 2-08 to St Farnan’s 0-14.
