Welcome to Easkey Rounders, the first Rounders Club to be established in Co Sligo.

Rounders is a national game in conjunction with the GAA. Rounders was included in the original GAA charter back in 1884, along with Gaelic Football, Hurling and Handball. It is limited contact sport played for both recreational and competitive play and is played from national school children right up to senior level. Teams comprise of single gender male/ female and also mixed teams of boys and girls, men and women.

In 2012, an U13 girl’s rounder’s team was established to represent Easkey in Community Games competitions. Since then the club has gone from strength to strength, fielding girls and boys teams underage and achieving great success, including the u13 girls winning All Ireland Gold in the Community Games in 2018 and 2019.

Now, we have various teams competing from boys, girls and mixed underage teams, right up to an adults team taking part in All Ireland and Connacht Féile and various Comórtas. It's been great to been apart of the revival of a great sport.
