Easkey Sea Blues GAA Club

CLUB NOTES - 2nd October 2019

Senior Football

Our senior footballers are through to the Kennedys Intermediate semi-final with a 1-14 to 0-11 victory over local rivals Enniscrone on Saturday 28th September under lights in Tourlestrane.
After a fine opening half which saw us race into a 0-7 to 0-2 points lead at half time, Enniscrone came back into the game, cutting our lead to 2 points before Rory McHugh was fouled for a penalty which Mikie Gordon slotted home. This goal and the few points after it were enough to get us over the line. Our lads will be happy with the performance but will be hoping to improve on the accuracy after numerous wides, especially in the first half.
We now play a Bunninadden team who will be buoyed by an impressive victory over Curry last Sunday. The game is fixed for Saturday 19th October under lights at 7.30pm in Tourlestrane.
